Recorded via AmaRec through a GV-USB2 capture card and rendered to 720p with Sony Vegas 14 upload at the native framerate of the recording (59.9401 fps).

Was not expecting to get the record in this category before my Christmas vacation break but well, here you go. It won't stay as the record for long I imagine.

I think I may have started my timer early during the livestream so my time loss might be even less on Stage 1 than I originally thought (somehow).

Stage 2 still needs some serious work though much of my improvement is still squarely on the boss it looks like.

Stage 3 is weird, not sure I have much more time to squeeze out of that split but who knows.

Stage 4 had a blunder at the Metroid doors but otherwise a really good stage everywhere else including the boss.

Stage 5's desert worm gave me no dig but a very mobile pattern which cost me some good timesave. Missed a rocket boost too (that's a no no). Absolutely beautiful stage otherwise.

In Stage 6, I'm convinced that the other pathway (with the music notes and the bubbles) is now faster. The music seems to give me that vibe now. Perfect Axel pattern and no real mistakes here.

Stage 7 is really just the boss itself. This fight has been the one big weak point of my runs where other top runners have better results than me and that needs to be fixed. Need a flash cart for that though because I ain't sitting through the entire stage just to get 3 rounds of practicing that fight lol.

Stage 8 was probably my biggest loss this run. The core fight was probably the cause of that. Many of the rolling attacks hitting only 1 target and not 2 like they should have. That is an area of improvement. Awful pattern by Lioness and I count myself lucky this run finished at all because of that. The 3 regular sword swipes a good deal into that fight is likely what saved it.

Big shoutouts to Drakodan for really taking on this game and bringing it to justice just how great of a speedrun it is as well as recommending it to me in person personally. Also a big shoutouts to Nobleboy who held the record before this run for really set a high standard to it. I can tell he put alot of work into it and I'm sure he'll be so happy when he beats this run.
