so the new motherboard arrived which means it was time to once again attempt to build newputer which was a nightmare of course and as i believe i mentioned last time my 4tb harddrive sadly passed away at the age of 1 and with it my whole skyrim modlist which i literally just finished setting up prior oh and also i had to nuke my c drive too because the windows bootloader or whatever decided it didnt want to work in the new pc so now im down 2 drives and the computers cpu is running absurdly hot im talking like 90 on idle so i spend like hours tryna tighten screws and also i should mention one of them would NOT go onto the standoff and i was losing my goddamn mind over it i think i stabbed my mobo with the screwdriver like 4 times during that process anyway i get the cooler in and low and behold the cpu temps are still somewhere between nuclear hellfire and core of the sun but after a google search apparently thats normal you see the cpu im using the ryzen 9 7950x is supposted to be that hot i splurged on a good cpu cause the other one i was gonna get would be less powerful then my little brothers and i cant have that anyway i plug in one of my old harddrives and low and behold my skyrim modlist is right there in all its glory so im proud to announce were so fucking back
