Auldjohn is Capt. Martin Walker of the U.S. Army's Delta Operation. He and his squad, Lt. Alphonso Adams and Sgt. John Lugo have infiltrated Dubai to investigate a transmission received from Col. John Konrad.

Col. Konrad and his 33rd Infantry Division remained in Dubai after a flood and cataclysmic sandstorm devastated the city. The 33rd were evacuating survivors unable to escape. Col Konrad and his force were reported MIA and presumed dead until the weak transmission was received.

Capt. Walker and his team have infiltrated but are now battlling unknown insurgents in the sands outside Dubai. As the firefight intensifies Capt. Walker makes a wrong choice and is KIA.

Auldjohn "resurrects" him using, Reload Checkpoint.
