In Nina's flashback, her family and Kaito's parents turn into monsters because of the black snow. She unlocks her lightning magic.
It looks like Sora has a crush on Michelle.
Turns out Noelle got transformed into a monster during that incident, so now she's in Marie's lab. We don't know exactly what caused it, so Marie can't reverse it.
Kaito is working in the cafe now that he's retired.
Marie still has the black pearl shard from before, but Asha can sense the rest of the pearl somewhere in the city.
Some artificial mages are causing trouble and attacking the military mages, but the fight is put on hold when a bunch of monsters spawn in the city.

You don't start with the full party, but they'll join you as you make progress.
46:52 Boss: Death
Despite its name, it doesn't inflict any instant death effects. Instead, it just summons a bunch of allies, some of which can use ailments. I played it safe and used Cure Condition on everyone, even at the cost of DPS.
I don't know if this is true or if I was just unlucky, but the boss seems to survive at 1 HP unless you wipe the entire enemy team out at the same time.

The party realizes the monsters might continue spawning from a source in the city, so the city is going to be under lockdown.
