7Spiritfall is a fast-paced Action Roguelite with combat inspired by Platform Fighters. Slash, smash, launch, and wall-splat a multitude of enemies using an ever-changing arsenal of divine powers.
Spiritfall is a 2D Action Roguelite inspired by Platform Fighters - a mix between games like Hades or Slay the Spire with games like Smash Bros. or Multiversus.
This is our third Indie Sunday, we have come a long way since the first Beta thanks to feedback from the community and we greatly appreciate everyone who commented with feedback or helped us test the game so far.
Here are some of the changes and new features in the latest Beta:
New Weapon: the Astral Cord Bow, boasting incredible range and a versatile moveset.
Hidden Rifts: New room types which can appear on the map and feature combat challenges with significant rewards. These rooms feature a dynamic camera and new enemies to put your Platform Fighter skills to the test.
New Active Abilities: Spirit Assists offer unique attacks to add to your combo arsenal. We are still testing these out and plan to offer a variety of options in future updates (currently there is only 1 per Spirit).
More Content for existing Systems: Spirit Blessings, Enchantments, Skills
Improved Physics and Movement: Reworked knockback formula, diagonal drop from platforms, better collisions.
More QOL stuff: Better performance, resolution options.
