Spiritfarer (Goodbye Alice)
1This was a incredibly difficult moment taking Alice to the gate. Not only because she somewhat reminded me of my Nan, whose funeral I attended to after this, but to add to it she was showing signs of Alzheimers as she was getting confused, seeing you as her daughter and it hurt sooo much to just pretend to be her daughter and take her to the other side.
To add to it, she had a moment of clarity what it seemed she was somewhat aware of what was happening, but reverted back to saying "We should bring your dad here next time." and that last hug ALWAYS destroys me.
