Splatoon 3 Brush Weapon Class Comparison
28With the newly released Painbrush, I thought it'd be a good idea to showcase the differences between all 3 of the brushes in Splatoon 3. This video showcases the Inkbrush, Octobrush, and as stated before, the newly released Painbrush in the weapon test range.
Game version is 4.0.0 and these results could change in the future. Will I make another video on them if they do? Probably not unless it's drastic enough to warrant an updated video.
Personally, I don't like the Painbrush. Even though it has high range and power, if you watch the splat speed comparison, the little windup before attacking is really detrimental to the whole theme of the brush weapons, which is close combat. Maybe in a real match this won't matter, but against another brush, if you're taken by surprise there's no chance whatsoever to fight back. ALSO, that non-existent ink efficiency while swinging is a huge oof...
