Splatoon is a third person shooter game with a fresh Nintendo charm. As an ink-kid you take control of various weaponry to take down your enemies and paint the world with your color. In the main multiplayer game mode the winning team is decided by which one covers the most area with their color. As a squid you can move faster through your own paint color and recharge your paint and hide from enemies.
Octo Valley is the Splatoon single player campaign in which the inklings must rescue Zapfish, Inkopolis’s source of power, from Octarians. Players are provided with a basic paint gun and grenades, which can be upgraded as your progress through the story by collecting orange Power Orbs in each stage. With near impossible to find Splatoon Amiibo you can also unlock special weapons to take through the campaign levels. Each level mixes enemies and obstacles that you must paint your way through to rescue the Zapfish. The conclusion of each world includes a giant boss battle with their own unique mechanics.
