World 1: Summer Forest (backtracking)
Part 12: Summer Forest Home (Part 3) & Sunny Beach (Part 2)

Now that Spyro has the ladder-climbing ability, we can backtrack to Summer Forest to grab any gems and orbs that required that. In the Summer Forest Home, there's a ladder to climb there in which you can quickly grab the remaining items. Sunny Beach has some ladders as well. The large ladder in the level leads to more gems and a minigame in which Spyro must save some baby turtles from getting cooked.

Needless to say, it's not one of my favorite parts of this game...

In the next part, we'll head back to Autumn Plains to start the first level there: Skelos Badlands!
