Spyro 2 Ripto’s Rage (PS1 / Retroarch) - Game Start w/ Mega Bezel No Scanlines
So I’ve decided I’m going to make duckstation stand alone my properly upscaled and texture filtered version of the emulator.. and I’m going to use Retroarch / swanstation for a slightly more “classic” look.
This shader can be found in the mega bezel pack under (variations - no scanlines). I settled on it because any of the ones I’ve used with scanlines created a lot of rendering artifacts / ghosting, especially in fast moving 3D images or gameplay. This still retains a lot of nice crt shader qualities despite the loss of scan-lines.
I’ve added some enhancements, mainly 2x internal resolution, 4x msaa antialiasing, and the pxgp warping correction fixes.. but it’s not as over the top as my duckstation settings.
Just playing the opening minutes of Spyro 2 to test recording this shader / setting setup.
