This is another video from 2016 but i decided to upload cause it shows how it hurts playing Cloud Spires level without activating Hard Mode.
The trick that i tried is the easiest, but it's possible to try the hardest - reaching the sub-level directly. It's really hard to do but if you actually will be able to do it - you can avoid activating Hard Mode.
You can see here that i didn't enter Sheila's area cause it was one of the first attempts to record the walkthrough. Hard way to reach sub-level in Cloud Spires i also didn't show because of the trick itself.
Gem drop has quite interesting work. It drops in certain areas but only once. It'll drop again if you enter sub-level, and it'll immediantly drop to you by exiting sub-level, which destroy the easiest way to avoid gem drop. Managing to avoid it the hardest way can be a great blow to this version. And an interesting fact that same gem has such work in normal version with same events that happen.
