I've recently gotten to play some Project+, and it seems like a pretty fun SSBB mod. I also have gone as far as to learn how to add my own custom music into the game, and it wasn't pretty hard to do. Last year, I made a video of me using custom music in SM4SH on the Wii U, and I decided to do the same on SSBB.
Yes, this is my first time with custom music in the game, so I am aware of some volume things you may hear in the video. But overall I'm happy with how things turned out.
Fun Fact: I got the idea of the first song used (Believer) from the Chad Wild Clay vs PZ9 fighting video.
