StarCraft Remastered: UEDAIP Beta testing - Vanilla Terran 06 Norad II
Rotacioskapa here. So, the Vanilla Terran campaign is getting released in UEDAIP, and who am I to not make a video series about that? Hope you'll enjoy this insight, as always, I'm not going for most efficient strats, just the ones I tend to enjoy the most and can actually commentate on. The other two campaigns, as well as Enslavers are still in production/testing phase, but those will come too!

This mission is still not the easiest thing to do, believe me, you don't see all the fails I've had lol. The start is somewhat easier in a way that Surtur Brood's (Blue) first four waves not hit the same targets (first Zergling wave hits you from north and third Hydra wave hits you from there too, while the second and fourth waves hit Duke), so that's definitely better and more predictable. BUT. All the other waves hit randomly still, and sometimes that means Duke gets destroyed under 12 minutes. That's really hard to deal with, you basically have to do the Chen'la way (link below), and nothing else. But I've found they mostly survive for at least 15 minutes, and that's mroe than enough to get there.
Anyways, I always like to clean this whole mess up, so a few key takeaways:
-fly the eastern CC closer to minerals instantly - why is it far away in the first place lol;
-instantly send your Marines into the northern Bunker, as it will get attacked shortly after (also, keep an SCV for repairs and all your starting forces there);
-rush for Siege Mode, as you can clean up the Sunken nearby, granting you more space for defense (and also help deal with the Hydra wave);
-for that Hydra wave, I recommend building another Bunker at the northern one, and placing Spider Mines there;
-also rush Wraiths, you're gonna need them to kill or at least bait Guardians (because yeah, if you attack Guards with Wraiths and then run away with them, the Guardians will try to follow - even into Turret or Marine fire lol, a tactic also courtesy of Chen'la);
-the left side is the safest to push at, so I do recommend using it - with even 1-2 Siege Tanks and some Marines, it can be done;
-if you reach Duke but about to continue the map or don't have the required units there yet, DO DEFEND AND FORTIFY THAT BASE - a few Tanks, Bunkers and SCVs should do the trick;
-meanwhile, in your base, set up a HUGE defense line of Supply Depos, Bunkers and Tanks;
-if you want to clean up, do take that northern expo as soon as your first forces get through there;
-use the high ground to attack Surtur from the back;
-that's basically it for this kind of approach; there are also some other minor tips, I talk about those in the vid, but I don't want to write everything lol.
tl;dr: prepare to get your a$$ handed to you.
Btw, if you're going for a speedrunning approach, there's a Chen'la video that shows the absolute best and funniest way to do just that (mission starts at 21:34):
