Before anyone asks, I did buy the Star Fox DLC and I’m disappointed that it had to be behind a paywall, along with everything else.
But anyway we return back to the Crimson Moon to take part in the next part of this journey, A Star Fox Reunion. That’s right. This mission will have us doing a series of missions and we’ll each use the other Star Fox pilots.
Up first is Peppy Hare. His mission has us heading to an abandoned station only to prevent an asteroid from ramming into a planet. It requires us to block the lasers with debris. Once we block them, we need to overload the core. After that it’s a showdown against Pigma. We beat him and he retreats.
Next is Slippy Toad and we head to a planet to confront Andrew. Andrew is a tough fight and unless you have weapons that can pierce the tank’s defenses, you won’t last long. However Slippy’s ability to hack enemies can be beneficial especially in the second half. Once Andrew is defeated, move on to Falco.
Falco Lombardi’s mission is a showdown against Leon. You need to weaken him first then fire a capture net and follow it up with more capture nets to shut him down so you can take him to prison. Is it really the end? NO! There’s one more fight.
Wolf returns and he brings a big battleship that plans on capturing the Equinox. It’s a three phase fight. First you need to take down the turrets and cannons. Once they go down take down Andrew but you got to watch yourself since many enemies will come to shoot you down. Afterwards it’ll fire beams to ensnare the Equinox. Use mines to send them into the beams to deal damage to the ship. Leon will show up so take him down first then focus on the mines, followed by Pigma. Once Pigma goes down, Wolf remains and he is a tough opponent. You will need to have a lot of ships and weapons if you are to take him down. If you suffer heavy damage, get to where the Equinox is and heal. Once you are healed then you can continue the fight.
Afterwards Star Wolf will be sent to a portal and back to the Lylat system. That’s all there is. Plus you get to play as the other Star Fox pilots anytime so use the opportunity to level up the pilots and their weapons so you can unlock all their skills.
