I got the Genesis in 1993 and then the Sega CD for my birthday that year. I got the 32X later that year... there's a lot of stories behind these things which I won't go into. Note the TV is almost as old as the systems!

The shortest is that these things have survived two decades and two transatlantic voyages, and that the internal memory of the Sega CD still had all my save files intact after the worst part of a decade dormant without any power. The only faults are the CD drive door sticking and the little piece of plastic from the drive door lid (seen next to the TV) came off and won't reattach. It hasn't affected the operation of the unit.
