18Colorado Avalanche defenceman Stefan Elliott scores his first ever NHL goal in his first ever NHL game on Saturday, November 26th in a game against the Edmonton Oilers. Elliott won the Bill Hunter Memorial Trophy as the Western Hockey League's best defenceman in 2011 and started the 2011-12 season with Colorado's farmteam, Lake Erie Monsters, in the American Hockey League.
