Arcade Mode Run #42: Rose
A new character has arrived and it's of the Alpha Series. This is Rose. Oh and if you notice, I'm doing this on PS5 so yeah, the video is a bit shorter.
Rose is different from how she was in Street Fighter V. She has her Soul Spark and Soul Spiral but has access to some new moves. For starters, she can Soul Spark in mid-air and can use her scarf as a weapon via anti-air. With EX, it can lead to a wall bounce. Plus she has the ability to let off a Soul orb that detonates after a short time.
Her V-Skills and V-Triggers really make her different. V-Skill 1 is Soul Fortune which lets her choose one of four cards and they provide different advantages such as increasing your V-Meter or boosting your attack. Via Fortune Shuffle, you can also provide disadvantages to your opponent like increasing their chip and grey damage or reducing their attack power. V-Skill 2 is Soul Satellite aka Rose's Ultra 2 from USF4. She can summon up to two orbs and can be used to deal additional damage to the opponent.
V-Trigger 1 is Soul Dimension, giving Rose the ability to teleport twice. She can teleport to the edge of the screen, behind her foe or in the air behind the opponent. It can be cancelled from her specials for a mixup or extension. V-Trigger 2 is Soul Illusion, one of Rose's supers from the Alpha series. It lets her summon a double that mimics her attacks and movements. Plus her Soul Spark gets a damage boost. As for her Critical Art, she damages you with the scarf and if it connects, it leads to a powerful damaging attack.
Rose is very different from how she was before but if used right, she can really deliver the pain.
