Streets of Rage 4 - Out of This World!!! Solo On Every Stage
2Universal Tips:
• Don’t get hit/grabbed/thrown (obviously)
• Keep enemies on the right side of the screen
• Less about the number of hits, more about amount of damage you do
• Destroying containers and picking up passive items (food, money, stars) help extend combo time, but not as long as hitting an enemy
• Toxic puddles do more harm than good.
• Enemy factions fighting each other will pause your combo time
• “Out of This World!!!’ Requires at least 1000 total damage dealt
•The most dangerous enemy is the one just outside your attack range…because you’re in theirs
Stage Tips:
Stage 1 - Straightforward. Nothing Special to note.
Stage 2 - You can start as soon as you’re out of the cell. Attack Barney ASAP!
Stage 3 – Use dropped weapons on The Skins (they like to back-pedal). When you get to Nora, use a star on Galsiaaaaa. The spiked wall can be of use, too.
Stage 4 - Straightforward. Nothing Special to note.
Stage 5 – Start with Koobo and Big Ben. You have time before the combo runs out after the loading screen.
Stage 6 – Ignore the boomerang blade. You don’t need it. Since the first Raven likes to take his time to spawn, destroy the rickshaw. Move quickly and destroy the barrels when the screen moves.
Stage 6 alt. – In the Dojo. Grab a Naginata from the previous room.
Stage 7 – Once the train gets moving again, move all the enemies as far right as you can. Once Estel arrives, land a hit ASAP.
Stage 8 – A doozy. Take out Victoria first. Move the Gold Chicken to the bottom of the screen. After you defeat the last enemies in the first area, move quickly! Grab the chicken, throw it as soon as it says “Go”, and hope it hits Galsia or Jonathan. You’ll have to fight around Elizabeth and her toxic bottles. Do what you gotta do.
Stage 9 – Ice physics…deal with it.
Stage 10 – Wrecking Ball…use it. Do not let Z or Gudden get a weapon.
Stage 11 – Tossing enemies off the lift helps. Just make sure you get some hits in. Destroy containers or pick up items in between enemy waves.
Stage 12 – Fight and move right. Throwing an enemy at the end will buy you some time. Get a knife, destroy the first box, get the money, move forward a bit, throw the knife to destroy the next box. Hit Caramel as soon as she jumps in.
Stage 12 alt. – In the Castle. Beware of Sparrow’s Flying Knee (can and will attack from offscreen) and Z with a weapon (He’ll catch and throw it at you). Again, do what you gotta do.
