DCS: Digital Combat Series is a combat flight simulator which has earned its reputation amongst all kinds of players. It is visually pleasing and its realism is unmatched.
The game introduces you to modern fighter jets, helicopters and WW2 planes with detailed cockpits and with modules you can have fully clickable cockpits.
DCS is free to play on steam and from its own website and has a wide array of modules which you can purchase to enhance your gameplay. Modules can get a bit expensive so I would suggest grabbing them on discounts.
Free to play version includes the SU-25 Frogfoot and TF-51D the version of the world renowned P-51D Mustang WW2 fighter.
The modules can be purchased to add maps, campaigns and more aircrafts.
