Submerged is an indie exploration game made by a team of former Bioshock developers who founded their own company, Uppercut Games.
In the game, we take on the role of a young girl, Miku, who arrives on a rowboat in the archipelago of a sunken city. She must explore the remains of the city in order to find resources and aid for her injured brother.
The game has no combat, features climbing as main gameplay focus, although the controls can be stiff and unresponsive sometimes and that can make the short experience a bit of a frustration. Also, if you're going for a 100% achievement, remember to grab every collectible before getting to the main goal.
It's a fun little game that I can wholeheartedly recommend if only for the beautiful story and the wonderfully rendered open world made with Unreal Engine 4.
