31In June of 2020, several Slay the Spire streamers got together to coordinate a charity event. We chose to raise funds for MedShare, a non-profit focused on capturing and distributing medical supplies. And so, Slay the Virus was born. Learn more below!
Originally recorded on June 27, 2020, this video includes a rare and strange appearance of SubtleOak speedrunning Defect, apparently for the first time. While this Act (pun intended) is almost impossible to follow, sneakyteak returns after for an Ascension 20 Silent run!
MedShare set out to solve two problems at once: the United States sends hundreds of millions of dollars of medical waste to a landfill each year, and yet countless medical needs go unserved around the world. The solution: capture and re-distribute spare supplies! (Along with all the necessary training and logistics to use those supplies.)
