Tonight the Spotlight puts on its trenchcoat and starts practicing its noir monologues! Shadows of Doubt is a procedurally generated detective sandbox game with unprecedented scale and interaction. The game gins up a portion of a city with potentially hundreds of characters, and your job is to play private eye, combing crime scenes for clues to whodunit. Even with just a few simulated city blocks, the depth of detail is immense: you'll be searching for fingerprints, analyzing video footage, and tailing suspects all in a day's work. I'm genuinely impressed with what they're doing here.

There's some Early Access jank, so be advised, but most of the core mechanics are well in place, and the roadmap looks promising. If you've ever wanted to play out the nuts and bolts of detective work, this game hits the mark just about perfectly. Grab a fedora, solve some crimes, and remember: the redhead is *always* trouble.
