Sunflowers & Grasshoppers - Episode 3: Much Champloo About Nothing

Well, I *sorta* finished the game this time... in the sense that I'm at least done with Mugen's campaign. But since I really want to beat the game with all three playable characters -- yes, there's a third unlockable character that becomes available after beating the game with either Mugen or Jin -- I guess I'm going to continue. Unfortunately, all three of them essentially share the same final stage, which is quite a doozy. So, to mitigate the sheer torment of going through it, I'll finish Jin's campaign first thing on Thursday before starting Worso's. That way, I won't have to go through that merciless gauntlet twice in a row.
The Jin stages that I completed this time were essentially the same as last time: similar to Mugen's, but slightly shorter and easier. That boss fight against the Giant Mugen was pretty trippy though. That boss fight with Gekkou was pretty cool though. Mugen's boss fight on #6 was weirdly easy though. Like, I wasn't expecting to win it so easily, given the boss's gimmick.
Honestly I'm hoping Jin's version of the final level will be shorter like all of his other stages were, but something tells me it'll probably be as long as Mugen's. Either way, that stage was less difficult in the traditional sense and more taxing on my overall endurance. Seriously, that damn thing just KEPT. ON. GOING. And don't get me started on the unreliability of those damned Kobans. I think the worst part is just how simple the boss fight at the end ended up being. After so many floors of Hell, the boss was fairly easy -- even if I did die a few times because I got cocky and tried to wrap things up quickly. The fact that I really, REALLY needed to go to the bathroom didn't help matters much either.
Fortunately, Worso's campaign has less levels than Mugen or Jin's. Hopefully, Thursday will be enough to finally put this game to rest. But if not, I don't think the fifth session'll be too terribly long.
