12Super Mario Odyssey is one of the most creative Mario games ever made, and in this review I’m breaking down everything from the platforming, kingdoms, and boss fights to the capture mechanic with Cappy. With over 880 Power Moons to collect, massive sandbox-style worlds to explore, and Mario’s smooth movement options, Odyssey delivers a fun experience for both casual players and completionists.
From the Metro Kingdom to the Luncheon Kingdom, every world has its own style, hazards, and unique platforming challenges. I’ll also share my thoughts on the boss fights, the Cappy captures, and whether this game really lives up to the hype as one of the best Nintendo Switch titles.
