I've beaten this game on Easy Difficulty some time ago, and I remember the 'Final Battle in Space' not really being the final level at all. Nevertheless, it's good to make some progress and some surprising discoveries as well. The Needle Kaiser is actually a lot better than I remembered it being. Sure, as you can tell I like Thunder Kaiser and Missile Kaiser, but I was surprised how well Needle carried my sorry ass in my time of need. In some of those later stages where I am getting covered, north to south, in enemy ships that sort of spread fire does help out a ton. I'm surprisingly optimistic using it in future runs to avoid swarm damage and stupid mistakes early in the game.
