Now this. THIS is why I speedrun. Honestly my most comforting memory of any video game level ever. I realised last minute that it was perfect for St Patrick's Day. (You wouldn't have seen it until later this year/early next year otherwise) Everything about the vibe of this level. The music, the windmill, the small cottage houses in the countryside. All of it brings back memories, and those memories are why I do this in the first place. Why I speedrun childhood levels, and why I do glitchless. The WR strategy of this level involves glitching past the bridge, and trivialising absolutely everything that made it so special. Let this level serve as the best example for why I both do these IL speedruns, and why I insist on doing glitchless. Yes, this is the level I brought up in my livestreams lately. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it. As you may have already guessed, I've been attempting it since mid-2018. Even then, I feel there are still improvements to be made and it had to be rushed last minute for today, but just under 2 minutes is satisfactory enough for me.
