453First off, very sorry the audio issues in the LAST TWO attempts of uploading this. It is my bad for not being SMARTER about checking ALL parts of the video before I upload. Will do my best to make sure it doesn't happen again anytime soon. If you care about WHY, I'm going to write a novel starting..... NOW: Some other recent uploads have had issues since making updates to my footage and how I edit. In this particular case with episode 187, turns out Adobe Premiere was just bugged out and ignored tracks the first time and crapped out on encoding audio halfway through the 2nd time. And of course, restarting Premiere it seems to have fixed it. Weird that it didn't give any errors. Although, in THE RECENT PAST issues were mostly just me being sloppy as I got used to the new stuff: 4k footage, AV1 video codec, multitrack audio, and working in the sometimes fun intros. In most of my recordings these days - player audio, my audio, and game audio are all separated - so that way I can cleanly and rightfully remove someone yelling out "Mexican Pizza is Pizza" without messing with my mic or sound effects. Working with multitrack audio I underestimated how easy it is to make a dumb mistake like forgetting to unmute an audio track, or mistakenly dragging audio to different tracks around while editing. It's shameful that someone who has been making videos for over 15 years all the sudden has all these issues. In the past I'd just record live , upload the episode, and then celebrate with a chalupa from taco bell. So thank you for patience as I get used to being more PROFESSIONAL about uploads, and I aim to work harder so you trust that when a video goes live, you can enjoy it without worrying it's broken. Whether you've watched me for years or are brand new, thank you for trusting me with your time - I constantly remind myself how lucky I am to have that honor. Also, if you really read this far, you have earned a guarantee that I will not steal your hair tonight.
