13Calina of StoryRetold plays the sequel to Syberia by game developer Benoît Soka. Released in 2004, this mystery adventure game features the female protagonist Kate Walker, a lawyer from New York who travels to Western Russia on a business mission, but doesn’t return to the states with the document of sale that her law office needs. She pursues the adventure with Hans Vorarlberg instead.
In this video, Calina plays as Kate and explores the monastery, eventually finding the patriarch. With much pleading, he agrees to bring in Hans but his examination leads him to believe Hans is a lost cause. Kate must now figure out a way to help Hans get better.
She talks to another monk who gives her a glass mammoth and a note about another shaman, and she uses shears to cut the brambles on the shaman’s tombstone, taking the brambles. She then makes an herbal candle, uses a brush on the chapel’s painting, solves the candle puzzle in the library, and finds where to place the mammoth glass…
