Synapse Is INCEPTION With Guns & Telekinesis - PSVR2 Gamplay
25Synapse is releasing onto the PSVR2 soon and it is basically inception in VR but with guns and Telekinesis. Travel into the mind of the colonel as you attempt to discover secrets and blast your way through hordes of enemies, becoming stronger along the way.
★ Synapse is a very interesting game, choosing to go with a monochrome color pallette for the majority of the game minus explosions and gunfire. This game was built for VR, more specifically the PSVR2, taking full advantage of features such as eye tracking and adaptive triggers. The telekinesis abilities are amazing and get even better the more you play, unlocking abilities to grab enemies or even throw grenades back at them. Eye tracking isn't only used in combat but also in selecting from a large menu of abilities and upgrades you can unlock. Speaking of which there are dozens of permanent upgrades you can unlock by completing certain tasks on runs as well as temporary abilities you can collect while out on runs. The gunfire and reload mechanics are solid and work very intuitively to not have you wasting time reloading in a hectic fire fight. The game features 9 levels with 3 levels of difficulty putting the game roughly at 12 hours or gameplay. each level or difficulty will unlock more of the story however after your first run, they call the next level of difficulty new game plus. Overall the game is incredibly fun, plays very well and looks amazing. Depending on your skills tho it may come across as a bit short but does have a lot of replayabilty.
