System Shock Remake Involuntary Invisible Laser Rapier Swing Bug
3If you holster or switch to another weapon in the middle of a Laser Rapier swing you will experience catastrophic results. Firstly, if you aim over anything destructible, or some kind of specific wall or floor, the invisible Laser Rapier will damage it without you giving any input, or even having it out at all. This includes explosive objects, such as the yellow barrels. Another thing it can do is interrupt ANY item action, like healing or shooting in general. And lastly, it lets you do damage to enemies by just looking at them in punching distance. With this new ability you can now kill enemies with a Medi-Patch.
But we really need this bug fixed because it's very easy to recreate this bug, and it can literally get you killed. The only way I know of to fix it once it happens is to load any save. Even if it's just a swift quick save quick load.
