Well, this confirms one thing I'm happy about. Asteria IS the place where CAST lives (original memories intact). It is Asteria, not the Rays (but after a certain point it doesn't matter because of shared data pool "The Rays X Asteria" collab was about) and it explains everything. THIS sort of worldbuilding doesn't count as WORLDbuilding at all.
And of course, CAST joins whole (four characters of Alphen and Shionne. The thing I was investigating this "Maiden" deal in the first place. Even got worried for they will really come as "OU" and "MIKO" as the poster suggested, but OF COURSE NOT, phew. They are bound soul options to them AND IT IS RIGHT, but sheesh, it was totally lost in dub and there was not a single soul to talk about WHAT Arise REALLY is about. I had to read terminals on quite a few walkthroughs myself for THIS very day, not for the Rays even. Good thing Asteria was destroyed on the 5th Anniversary for me. So if you want to get pissed now, you are 2.5 years late.).
This sure leaves a question who the hell is ORIE... but, oh well. As long as I'm not Descender there this is not my responsibility.
