TALES OF MAJ'EYAL (ToME) | 2022 Guide for Complete Beginners | Episode 1
256Tales of Maj'Eyal (or ToME) is a classic, fantasy roguelike that stands the test of time tremendously and provides countless hours of fun and horrifying deaths. I have been playing ToME for a while now and have gained experience by dying a whole bunch, but mostly from other, more knowledgeable players who have helped me understand this amazing game. My goal with this guide is to share all of their wisdom with my own takeaways to help ease new players into the game so they can enjoy it like I have! I start a brand new character that all new players have access to--the Dwarven Bulwark--and explain as much of the game and its mechanics as I can while venturing into the first dungeon!
