After Ix and Gefion's sacrifice, the Voidstorm has been sealed away. However, the resulting event known as the Mirrorshift has caused large crystals to protrude throughout the world and brought forth hordes of shimmera. Taking advantage of the situation, King Demitrius scapegoats Mileena for the incident and declares himself Emperor of the newly exoflected Asgard Imperial Empire. Now on the run, Mileena and her friends work from the shadows to uncover the Empire's plans and ultimately rescue Ix from his mirrage prison.
Key Characters
- Yuri Lowell: A former knight and now current member of the guild, Brave Vesperia. As part of their philanthropy work, he helps develop an information network to monitor the Empire's movements. After learning that a friend joined the Empire as a high-ranking member, Yuri becomes largely invested in learning their motives.
- Ludger Will Kresnik & Elle Mel Marta: A pair who possess of the power of chromatus. Due to its connection with Chronos, the Great Spirit of Time in their original world, the Empire is very intent of capturing them for their plans, especially Elle who wields an entirely different power.
- Ruca Milda, Illia Animi, & Spada Belforma: Human reincarnations of Devaloka deities known as Reborn. Due to their unique anima and consistent nature of being omega nexuses, the Empire desires to experiment on them. Fortunately they all manage to escape before any serious harm comes to them. Now they work to discover why the Empire desires them.
- Sync the Tempest: One of the God-Generals, the highest ranking members of the Oracle Knights. He despises mirristry due to its similarity to fomicry and desires to kill all mirrists. However, he sets his grudges aside to cooperate with the party's mirrists and oppose the Empire who he considers the greater threat.
- Kratos Aurion: A mercenary employed by the Salvation Front. As an angel, his skills and experience prove very beneficial in espionage and communications between the party and the Salvation Front.
- Flynn Scifo: An Imperial Knight working for the Asgard Empire as Demitrius' aide. However, his allegiance seems more tied to Princess Mercuria, and even then he starts displaying doubts in following her orders.
