"We are a group of friends, players, GMs, and hobby enthusiasts; who like you, love gaming. Almost all of us are Game Masters with various experience from as much as 35 years to as little as 6. We started humbly at the table and have slowly expanded our interests into other areas of the genre. Whether its playing various TRPGs such as D&D, Pathfinder, Starfinder, Call of Cthulhu, Outbreak: Undead, Of Dreams & Magic or hanging out on a Friday playing a newly purchased board game.
Over the years we have run home table games, convention & store games, organized play such as Adventure League, and even some historical horror LARPS with over 50 players! We are also members of the MU Skulls: one of 3 of Gencon’s Premier Gaming Groups to hold the title since its existance.
We are constantly looking for ways to expand our hobby and cultivate the culture that is gaming. We have danced with the idea of expanding beyond the conventions scene in the past with unpublished podcasts, game systems that sit on computer hard drives, and various other recordings. Time and life have finally allowed us start our SRD - Second Rate DMs our own YouTube Channel.
In SRD we focus specifically on sharing our experiences with the viewers, in hopes that they can become better GMs then we could ever be. The format is based around our “6 Steps to GMing”, and each video is nestled within one of those categories. We will also live stream some Q&A’s and some of our games. We have a formal format for most of our Twitch streams but we might also just post some vids of us messing around."
