This game (Tap A Jam, released by GameHouse in 2003) was the first game to introduce me to the concept of "rhythm games" in general. I used to play this a lot.

It plays like a standard 4-key rhythm game but has the following details:

- Dynamic notes (only plays when you hit them).
- Semi-random scoring that emphasises holding large combos over accuracy.
- Somewhat irregular timing occasionally.
- 90% techno/electro remixes of classical songs and 10% original songs.

The 1st and 3rd points can be attributed to the fact that the game's soundtrack uses entirely .mod files that upon further inspection, encode all the key information and level-stop flags of the songs.

This means the game's internal .mod player can use the information to only play notes that the player successfully hits.

(I actually like some of these songs so I imported them over to NullpoMino. This game is also the reason why .mod files hold a special place in my heart.)
