For those of you unaware, there are a couple of notable characters who can continuously Wavedash on the ground and attain a speed that's faster than their running speed, like Luigi or Squirtle. I decided to test every single character, and show the results. A "Perfect Wavedash", as I put in the title, is a Wavedash executed both frame perfectly and angle perfectly, which is airdodging as soon as the character exits his/her jumpsquat animation, with the Control Stick at a value of 255,90 in TAS Input. I tested the speeds of the movement options by starting at one edge of Battlefield, and ending when the character is in his/her first frame of falling. Keep in mind that specific characters have better movement options than both running or wavedashing, but I might cover those in the future.

In summary, the characters that benefit the best from doing this are Luigi, Squirtle, the Ice Climbers, and other characters that have both a low traction on the ground and a low running speed. This option, however, is only really viable in TAS, given the rather tight window for both execution and angling.
