Progress of my TAS up until the end of Bottle Grotto.

After finding out about clipless superjumps from an obscure router named Emularoz, oh man did this game break even more. It turns out clipless jumps are subpixel perfect, just requires facing away from the ledge-wall. South and East walls respectively require x/y 240 with 16 speed, before pushing away, while North and West walls require x/y 0. By clinking/shielding off of things during these clipless jumps, every dungeon boss is skippable.

I also discovered another method of bomb-triggering, TAS-only, requiring placing a bomb off-screen and then planting another bomb during the glitched-sprite mode. This allows for bomb-triggers without having to transition.

"Ah, it has a sleepy toadstool!" Actually it doesn't, but we'll give you the powder anyway. Getting powder from the Witch with this TAS-only bomb-trigger saves 8 seconds over the Trendy game. Bottle Grotto powder skip would save about 30 seconds, but it's currently impossible thanks to the awful geometry in both beginning rooms.
