Tatsunoko vs Capcom Friend Code Central
by Anthony J. Gomez

Taking a break from Goldeneye, I purchased Tatsunoko vs. Capcom! Tatsunoko? Tatsunoku? They say it in the beginning of the game and I can't even say it. Tatsunoko? Forget it.

When I first bought this game I was like WHAT THE HECK IS THIS? I'm not big on the anime, and there's this big opening pop song with anime of the different characters, leading into a rap, and I sat there and was like... uh, am I going to like this?

Actually playing the game, I do have to say, yes. Yes, I do like it. Tons of characters, colorful environments, great soundtrack, and gameplay reminiscent of the Marvel vs. Capcom series -- this is probably one of those games many Wii gamers may overlook. Initially I did, until I did a little more research on it.

I'm probably going to sound like a broken record because every review out there says this, but you're not going to recognize half the roster if you're not a big fan of anime. I'm going to tell you right now, it's not going to matter. All the Tatsunoko... Tushshos characters are really awesome and each character in the game plays extremely different from each other. So while some characters are really quick, like Viewtiful Joe, others like Mega Man are quite sluggish and handle quite differently.

Like Smash Bros Brawl and Goldeneye 007 before it, let this be our friend code central to share your friend codes, make some new rivals, and play online. Here's mine. I have to tell you right now, I thought I was good at this game until I played online, and then I got a reality check. Players from around the world, especially Europe, whooped me so badly I barely could move. So if you play me, I might not be the biggest challenge, unless you're watching this video months or years from the day it's posted, and hopefully by now, I'm pro.

Either way, add your friend code below in the comments or as a video response, and I'll see you online.

P.S. If you're still playing Smash Bros Brawl or Goldeneye, I usually post bulletins when I'm online, so check my channel periodically to see when I'm playing.
