Tell a thing - Higurashi VN music on a Sound Canvas
Composer: Koji Kusanagi
Genre: Classical
Original filename: mds1.mid
(This is another version of "Tell a thing"—perhaps the original version—which is not in Higurashi. I'm uploading it here just because I grabbed it along with the other tracks out of curiosity, and I think it's interesting to compare.)
This is a recording from my Roland Sound Canvas SC-55mkII. I started this little project because some of the original music in Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (Higurashi When They Cry) sounds bad, due to being severely clipped, and I recently found out that all of the offending tracks and some more, amounting to about half of the non-sound effect tracks, were written by one composer and published in MIDI format. So, I decided to make recordings of them, mainly to let the world hear them with good sound quality. They don't sound exactly like the versions in Higurashi, but at least they sound decent. I encourage anyone else with a good synth to do something similar.
