[This is a re-upload of the first part of my 4-part video back in 2008, first one was taken down, more info at the bottom. Music that was originally in this video(besides the bar scene) has now been removed using youtube's song removal tool, After reuploading this video on 13 april 2013, i'm got 2 content id matches on 16 Jul 2015, 2 years after there was no problems, but I managed to use youtube song removal tool to remove the songs.

This movie I created is a recreation of the Terminator 2 movie using 'The Movies' game (without the expansion pack) created by Lionhead Studio.

Firstly, I want to be clear that this movie I created does not use any footage from the original movie and therefore it doesn't breach copyright, this video was never meant to and it was created purely for fun and cause I like the Terminator franchise.
There are four parts, this is part one, check my channel for the other parts.

Total time of the entire movie is 37 minutes, I had to split it into 4 parts because youtube only allow up to 10 minutes of video per upload. This movie was created in 'The Movies' game by Lionhead Studios.

This movie has taken alot of my hard work, time and research into it, so if you don't like it, then don't post any bad comments. 'The Movies' game has limitation and therefore some scenes were changed from the original movie, but the end results are the same.

Facts about the production of this Movie:

Started: 31th August 2008
Finished: 1 October 2008
Total Time: 1 month, 1 day

Original movie script was first researched first to obtain knowledge of story, dialogue, scenes and so on.(Yes, I have seen T2 many times, but I can't remeber every scene and dialogue).
Movie was created, filmed and edited in 'The Movies' by Lionhead Studios. I used the 'Starmaker' program to create my actors, I tried to make my actors to look as close as the real-life actors.

When making this movie, I encounter lots of bugs and problems.
Bugs includes: costume worn by actors not being correct to what the 'scene script' I wrote, actors also had facial hair which was not mend to happen, these bugs appear during filming and couldn't be changed. Problems I has was my extras, director and actors was growing too old, they started to retire before the movie could finish shooting, Some of the scenes shot show the actors being very old compared to what was intended, once they retired, scenes that were already shot was remove and needed to be shot again, this was impossible because the crew or staff have left the studio.

In order to fix this problem, I had to split my original script in 3 seperate saved games and rewrote the script for each part. The following facts will tell you why filming was impossible to do in one go:

350 scenes, 24 sets, 1 director, 5 actors, 7 extras,

Filming time - in-game time(in total of all saved files): 89 years
(This was a problem because the cast and crew retires when they are 65 years old, movie took 89 years to film! Therefore filming was split into 3 saved files).

Total Cost(in- game money):
$1,568,932.00

When filming for all three parts were completed, I export my movie out of the game into three movie files. I used Windows Movie Maker to edit the movie. I place the 3 movies files together into one movie, some scenes were shorten. Another problem occurred here with the sound being out of sync. I had to re-sync all the audio in the movie to match the video and that took a long time cause the audio was out of sync everywhere. Next I wanted to add music in the movie, but WMM only allowed one sound 'layer', with the movie sound taking that layer, I couldn't put music in. To get pass this, I had to export the movie out and re-import the movie back into WMM. This time the sound track is now joined with the video footage and now I have a empty sound layer that I can put music into. Only some parts of the movie have music but near the second half of my movie, there is constant music playing. Once the music track was done I export the movie as one file. When uploading my movie on youtube, I had to split my movie into four parts so that they will upload.

This movie was created by me(Redalert2Havoc) using 'The Movies' and Windows Movie Maker.

Thanks:
to Lionhead Studio for created a awesome game for making your own movies, to James Cameron and Arnold Schwarzenegger for creating the Teminator Franchise, to Rogue for the Terminator costume and makeup, to marvellousguppimovies for the armory set and finally to me for creating this 'the movies' remake of Terminator 2 with I am proud of.

Youtube and Optimum Releasing took down the original first part on my movie, they say it breaches copyright, which is false when the original video didn't use any video footage from the real movie. Copyright music usage was fine, but now the video is copyright too, this is totally unfair. Just because the title of the video sounds like the real movie, they took it down without looking at the actual content.
