Terran 1v1 TvT - Macro Loss - StarCraft 2 Heart of The Swarm Beta (DayBreak LE - Long - Loss)

This is a long loss, but a good example of being out macro'd and out upgraded. I was trading OK with this guy for most of the game, but mid-way it becomes clear that I don't have my third base up. I also upgraded my bio, but not my mech - in the final confrontations, his marines simply shred my out of position mech forces - believe he was upgraded 3/3 and I was upgraded 1/1. It's funny that initially he went mech, I went bio, then we switched by the end. I may well review this one on a reply too with voice to see how it went.
Ultimately - he outpositioned me and kept a big series of drops and harrass up that pulled me out of position. I also mispositioned my expensive main army at times...the upgrades and this were probably the key to my loss.
So - frustrating, but one I hope you can learn from!
