Cast you mind back a few hundred years.
1822, Joshua Tetley was on the verge of greatness. Parting with £400, he bought a rather makeshift brewery in Salem Place, central Leeds, Yorkshire.
With the mantra of “quality pays” Joshua went on to create a great British empire, brewing some of the most iconic brews that have endured over the last 200 years.
Fast forward to 2019. An idea was brewing. Using a rich history and knowledge in brewing great beers, but with an focused eye an a bright future, a brand new Tetley’s Beer was born. Nothing new for a brewer of course, but this beer really shouldn’t exist.
We’ve perfected a brew using our totally unique dual strain ale yeast, we’ve created a premium lager that’s really very different. A premium lager using fine hops and ingredients, brewed with both taste and flavour.
It’s the sort of lager that’s brewed the ale way.
