F1 returns to Austria this weekend, the track with the quickest lap for a pole position on the Formula 1 calendar in terms of lap time in 2024 — and that’s despite it not being the shortest in terms of distance.
Last season’s pole position, which went to Red Bull’s home favourite Max Verstappen, saw him take pole with a 1:04.314 – the quickest pole position lap of the 2024 season.
