Let's celebrate the 23rd Anniversary of Rival Schools: United By Fate

This is a passionate video I have been wanting to make ever since I started YouTube! What is the best fighting video game of all time? RIVAL SCHOOLS! Don't believe me? Take a look at this:

Rival Schools: United By Fate was released on July 30, 1998 and later on September 30, 1998 in North America.
The game is set in the Japanese city of Aoharu City (not a real place), and is centered on the student youth that attend schools throughout the area. Many students and teachers from various schools fight each other to unravel the mystery of kidnappings and violence around their campuses that have occurred recently. The series is set in the same universe as the Street Fighter series.

The game was originally called Justice Fist, and the initial story was that fighters from every country came together to decide who was the strongest. Director Hideaki Itsuno decided to base it on a school setting because he believed that everyone could relate to the game via his or her school experiences. Street Fighter character Sakura was included as "insurance" due to worries of bad sales.
However, it wasn't necessary, as Japan's Game Machine Magazine listed Rival Schools: United by Fate on their February 1, 1998 issue as being the most-successful arcade game of the year. A 54% complete version of Rival Schools was the most popular Capcom game at the September 1997 JAMMA show, bringing in larger crowds than Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact.

A direct sequel, Project Justice, was released in Japan on December 17, 2000, and in Spring 2001 worldwide. This game is based one year after the events of Rival Schools: United By Fate. I might need to make a video on this game as well...
