26Sometimes, video games have small features and details that take can take a game from good to great.
Dark Souls has a number of "little things" that made it even better in my opinion. My favorite is how the Bells of Awakening you hear while playing the game online are actually other online players ringing the bell in their games. Such a small thing but it made a big difference for me.
This is a story about how finding that out from other players years ago when I first played the game affected me and why it's my favorite.
