The BEST MCU X-Men & Kang Theory Yet | How X-Men Can Join the MCU WITHOUT Compromising Canon & Lore
In a nutshell, the theory is that the "He Who Remains" Kang Variant created the TVA (along with the Sacred Timeline), in order to prevent all of his Kang variants from forming the Council of Kang. Every timeline that was pruned, was ultimately done to prevent a Kang variant from "conquering" each timeline. Thus the Sacred Timeline was actively preventing the events of Ant-Man Quantumania, Loki Season 2, Kang Dynasty, Secret Wars, etc. from ever happening. (Perhaps even more than that, but we know Kang & Kang Variants alike, will be directly involved in those events.)
The pruning of all these Kang variants (and branched timelines accordingly) inevitably would cause the X-Men & all mutants to be removed from the MCU 616 timeline, because the ancient Egyptian Kang variant "Rama-Tut" would have been amongst these pruned Kang variants & timelines. The theory suggests that the MCU's 616 adaptation of the source material will have the origin of mutation amongst humanity be tied to the Rama-Tut variant. Suggesting that he (Rama-Tut) if not pruned, would go on to create the first mutant, known as En Sabah Nur, aka: Apocalypse. Who would then go on to introduce mutation throughout all of humanity, thus birthing mutants into the world. (aka our MCU 616 timeline as it would have been, had "He Who Remains" not created the TVA & Sacred Timeline that pruned Rama-Tut from said timeline.)
Therefor, no Rama-Tut, no Apocalypse, no mutants, no X-Men.
Though, there was a period within the multiverse that the Sacred Timeline had not yet been created. So prior to the Sacred Timeline, Rama-Tut would have existed within the MCU 616 timeline, as would Apocalypse, as would mutants & X-Men. Meaning, the entirety of events within the MCU 616 timeline as we've seen them, from Iron Man to present day MCU, has been a branched/variant timeline of its own. One without mutants, due to the Sacred Timeline having been in place. Therefor, all of the events that occurred within the MCU 616 timeline prior to the Sacred Timeline, would have happened with all of mutant-kind alongside the Avengers.
With the Sacred Timeline destroyed, the MCU can now merge these variant MCU 616 timelines. The variant MCU 616 timeline without mutants, (the one we've be watching ever since the first Iron Man film) and the original timeline that would have seen the Rama-Tut Kang variant create the first mutant (Apocalypse), leading to mutation throughout all of humanity. So inevitably, mutants & the X-Men were originally in the MCU 616 timeline, we were just witnessing the events of the MCU 616 timeline occur whilst the Sacred Timeline was in place. We could go on to see the events from the variant MCU 616 timeline be integrated with Mutants & X-Men. We could even see origins for all of the X-Men through the lens of this "new" or "original" MCU 616 timeline, and the X-Men would all exist in the MCU without losing any of their lore, whilst seamlessly integrating in to the MCU narrative without breaking or compromising pre-existing canon.
