The big lie of the fat free movement
#shorts
The 'fat free' movement of the past few decades has been based on a big lie. This movement has perpetuated the idea that eating food with fat in it is bad for our health, when in fact it is not.
Fat is an essential part of our diet and provides energy, as well as many vitamins and minerals. It also plays an important role in digestion, hormone production and can help keep skin healthy. Unfortunately, this lie has caused people to eat fewer foods that contain healthy fats, such as nuts and seeds, avocados, and olive oil, and instead to eat more processed and refined foods. This has led to a number of health complications, such as increased risk of heart disease and diabetes.
The truth is that eating healthy fats is beneficial for our overall health, so it is important to include these in our diet. Eating a balanced diet that includes healthy fats can help to reduce the risk of many diseases
