So Carter reverts back to his old personality because you've been playing as an alien all along even though you saved Carter's back so many times.

So he just had to be an ass and decides to make you choose who's going to live and who's going to die.

Final room of this game though... so many aliens rushing you that I had to spam turrets, drones, silacoids, and mines and stay near the entrance to where I was at.
