I wasn't worried about beating the Kasumi. All they do is spam the mid kick hold. Didn't phase me. That was my second match in like 4 days. The rust kept my brain from working. Very easy to overcome. Not on my level. First loss was luck. No offense to the Kasumi player though. They were the second best one there.
I love every character, not meaning I want to play every character. I only use Jann Lee sometimes to prove how broken this game is. Listen to this: I struggled against a Jann Lee player during all 7+ matches. But as soon as I mirror match the person, I won pretty convincingly. I've NEVER trained with Jann Lee. I just know how to use basic moves like Dragon Kick, 6PP, Dragon Gunner, etc. Who cares though? Those OP moves are all I need to win. Why? Because this game is TRASH. How do I beat an experienced Jann Lee with my noob one? Oh my goodness! *facepalm* I wish I recorded it. Or maybe I did? I need to check.

Only good thing about DOA5 and 6 is the story mode. The combat is trash. I could play the old Dead or Alive games 24/7 and never get bored. Team Ninja, get rid of guaranteed follow ups, no guaranteed juggle off a wall hit, only allow juggle height off a launcher if people EARN it (critical burst range). If you do a launcher when your opponent is stunned only once or twice, you get NO JUGGLE! No guaranteed force wakeups. Forcing your opponent off the floor early should be a 50/50 guess. If you guess wrong when trying to hit them on the ground, you are at disadvantage. No more Bass guaranteed ground throw pick up spam. It's broken. No more high counter and counter hit multipliers. They're LUCK! NOT SKILL!
No one ever plans to do counter damage unless they are Throwing a Hold. Only throws should do counter damage, but only to low holds (and to the mid hold if playing 3-way). Nerf Dragon Kick.
