I got invited to join The Crew Beta on the PlayStation 4 and to be honest, I had high hopes for this game. I have been keeping my eye on it since E3 and thought that potentially it could help me to regain my interest in the racing genre. Unfortunately, after a few hours of playing, I have discovered that as far as I can see it is a direct copy and paste of the driving mechanics of Watch Dogs. This makes sense because both Watch Dogs and The Crew were developed by Ubisoft and also were developed alongside each other. Even the cutscenes look like Watch Dogs. Obviously this is awesome for you if you are a fan of Watch Dogs! You’ll love this game! Unfortunately, I was not into Watch Dogs at all, so The Crew doesn’t exactly get me excited. Tell me in the comments if you like the game and how it looks and if you got into the beta please share your thoughts on that! Who knows, maybe Ubisoft will make a ton of changes between now and the release.
